A dead mirror is usually a dead circuit

When Tor connects, it builds a line of three random relays, a circuit, and your page travels through them in order. If the middle relay is slow, or vanishes halfway through the load, the page never arrives and the tab just spins. Nothing on the market side changed. Your particular line was the bad one, and a new click builds a new line.

In order, please

  1. Give it 30 to 60 seconds. First loads through a fresh circuit are slow, and the market’s entrance is a queue anyway, so “slow” is part of the normal. Most panic reloads happen in this window and cost their owner a place in line.
  2. Open a different address. A different .onion usually means a different endpoint on the other side. If your first mirror is saturated, the second is very often fine, and you will know in a minute.
  3. New circuit. In Tor Browser that is the onion icon, then New Circuit (or Ctrl+Shift+X). Note the trade: if you were already standing in the queue, a new circuit drops you back to the tail. Do it after switching, not instead of it.
  4. Restart Tor Browser. Clears stuck circuits and half-dead connections. Two minutes, usually decisive.
  5. Then, and only then, wait and retry later. Busy hours pass. The queue page is a living thing: it grows, it shrinks, it lets people through.

What actually down looks like

All three addresses failing at the same time, with other traders reporting the same, is the market side of the problem, not your side. Usually it is a load spike or maintenance, and when it comes back the queue page appears before the storefront does, which is easy to miss if you are watching for the shop. A single slow tab is a small sample about a very large network. The honest test is the one in step two: open the address, and see whether the queue loads.
